Overview:
We are looking for SharePoint 2007 Application infrastructure lead who would be responsible for troubleshooting/performance objectives. Consultant will ensure overall technical integrity of organization’s SharePoint server farm, including set-up and configuration of SharePoint Services on Servers, maintenance of Web Front End Servers, Indexing Servers, and maintaining/coordinating database servers.
Requirements:
1. Must have 2+ years experience administering SharePoint technologies, including Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007
2. Should have knowledge of architectural design, web parts development, management, and troubleshooting with a focus on planning, deploying, and supporting enterprise SharePoint implementations
a. Create and maintain Sites and Site Collections, as well as all associated databases and services, such as Shared Service Providers, and Extended Authentication providers if needed
b. Qualify, install, and maintain any Plug-in, Feature, Web Part, Template, or Solution, including 3rd party software or applications
c. Recommend, establish, maintain, and/or enforce end user access policy and permissions
3. Must have Experience configuring and working with Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) and SQL Server 2005
4. Must utilize and consult with the client on a "best practices" approach to Project Management and Change Management.
5. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.
6. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator. Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of this project.
