Title: SAP HR Payroll Team Lead

Location: Houston TX

Duration: 6-12 Months

 

            #1 (Required)  Eight, or more, years of SAP HR/Payroll project management experience and a minimum of 3 full lifecycle global SAP HR/Payroll implementations

  •  #2 (Required)  Experience with the implementation of multi-country HR and Payroll functionality within the definition of global design templates
  •  #3 (Required)  Management of large project teams with remote team members globally

 

Role Description:

 

This position will be responsible for all project management activities related to the existing Global SAP HR/Payroll integration and related project initiatives.

  

Minimum Requirements:

  • Eight, or more, years of SAP HR/Payroll project management experience and a minimum of 3 full lifecycle global SAP HR/Payroll implementations
  • Experience with the implementation of multi-country HR and Payroll functionality within the definition of global design templates
  • Functional knowledge of SAP HR/Payroll modules with a good understanding of the integration areas  
  • Management of large project teams with remote team members globally
  • Project life-cycle approach to system implementations with strong understanding and background in related methodologies
  • Defining HR/Payroll systems technology, strategy and architecture

 

Duties

  • Create project business cases (cost/benefit analysis)
  • Coordinate and manage functional requirements gathering
  • Estimate project costs and manage project budget
  • Construct and manage project scope
  • Define resource requirements
  • Identify interview project resources
  • Create, communicate and execute detailed project plans
  • Manage remote project teams with both business and IT project team members
  • Conduct and facilitate change impact assessments
  • Design and coordinate project implementation approach
  • Define data conversion approach and coordinate conversion activities
  • Create testing strategies and define test environment and associated requirements
  • Create detail test plans and manage testing across functional areas
  • Assist in change management approach definition and manage execution (with training and communication)
  • Define project risk factors and manage risk
  • Escalate project issues to project steering team members
  • Coordinate the definition of HR/Payroll security requirements
  • Coordinate system changes with 3rd party service providers
  • Manage the development of all project related system modifications, interfaces and report development requirements
  • Define and manage project cut-over plans
  • Obtain user sign-off on deliverables
  • Facilitate project issue resolution
  • Manage integration between HR/Payroll and other IT groups supporting Finance, Treasury, Plant Maintenance, Security, Basis and interface transmission groups
  • Facilitate the implementation of practical business solutions under multiple deadlines
