Job Title: Tivoli Consultant
Duration: 6-12 months
Location: Deerfield, IL
Interview: Phone
The Tivoli Consultant should have 3 to 5 years’ experience implementing monitoring tools and solutions.
Additionally they need to have the following skills:
· Strong Communication Skills
· Ability to translate user requirements to technical solutions
· Understanding of Tivoli Monitoring Architecture
· Knowledgeable in Linux, Solaris, AIX, and Windows
· Strong Scripting Skills (Bash, Perl)
- ITM and ITCAM Products - Creating and Troubleshooting Situations
- Experience building custom automations with Omnibus
- Experience building custom policies with Impact
- Experience building custom Dashboards and Tools using OMNIbus and Web GUI
Not Required but a Plus:
· Knowledge of Tivoli Data Warehouse
· Knowledge of Cognos version of Tivoli Common Reporting
Participate in support of Environment (7x24 Pager support every N weeks)
