Overview:

An experienced IT security professional well versed in IT security policy management, IT infrastructure vulnerability management, industry best practices in securing IT systems, SEIM and security incident response. Ability to take the initiative and work independently on security component of major projects. Understand and support the development of security metrics and monitoring the effectiveness of the maturity of the client’s security program. Implementation, managing and enforcing information security directives as mandated by the client’s IT Governance.

General Duties.

· Assists in the design of security countermeasures based on security risk assessment.

· Assist with the monitoring, evaluation, and maintenance of systems and procedures to safeguard internal information systems and databases from unauthorized users.

· Researches, recommends and implements changes to procedures and systems to enhance security.

· Coordinating and assisting with periodic security review & disaster recovery review.

· Proactive monitoring and review of security logs.

· Assist with the development and documentation of IT security procedures

· Assist with the development and implementation of IT security incident response and documentation.

· Update and maintain documentation related to IT security management processes, including IT SEIM, metrics reporting, and end user communications.

· Other duties as required to support IT security and maintaining minimal acceptable risk posture.

· On time, on schedule delivery of security incident reports

· Review and measure & report on security policy and procedure compliance

· Implement security incident tracking metrics and SEIM trend analysis

· Implementation of security risk assessment & classification review

· On time and accurate review of security review deliverables for quarterly security review.

· Proactive management and escalation of SEIM and preservation of chain-of-evidence thought proper forensic analysis.

· Minimize negative impact of security incidents to business areas

Skills and Knowledge Required:

· Current CISSP/CISA or other Security related Certifications and current InfoSec experience

· Strong customer service skills and commitment to providing quality service in support of IS/IT goals

· Broad experience with IS/IT including networks, security, servers, storage, applications, infrastructure, project mgmt., and governance

· Knowledge of IAM technologies & implementation experience a plus

· Experience with defense in depth security architecture & best practice configuration on a global scale a plus

· Able to demonstrate progressive, broad-based IT, and business experience

· Able to demonstrate knowledge, skills in the utilization of Share Point as delivery mechanism for security management and interactive confirmation & compliance management.

· Experience with the following standards and frameworks, a plus:

· ISO 27001, ITIL, COBIT, Six Sigma, CMMI, SDLC, Project Mgmt.

· University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical discipline a plus
