Overview:
Must have knowledge of the industry trends, future storage possibilities, and over all technical direction as well as be able to mentor others in the team to grow their knowledge base and experiences. Consultant will design and manage a mainframe migration.
Requirements:
1. Must have 3-5 yrs experience with EMC platforms including EMC Storage for Symmetrix
2. Must have previous Mainframe migration SME with strong understanding of ZOS migrations.
3. Must have experience utilizing:
a. LDMF
b. TDMF
c. FDR Pas/Move
d. SRDF
4. Mid to Sr. understanding of SAN experience Brocade FICON deployments (PLUSES)
5. Perform necessary storage infrastructure maintenance in accordance with internal best practices.
6. Maintaining multi-tiered storage infrastructure leveraging EMC hardware and software
7. Participate in the execution of the business continuance and disaster recovery plans.
8. Participate in the design and operational execution of the customer's storage disaster recovery process.
9. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.
10. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator
11. Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of this project
