 Position: MicroStrategy( Developer + Admin)

Location: Washington, DC

Duration:  1 year

 EAD/GC/Citizens need to be Apply

 Analyzing requirements, designing, developing, documenting, and maintaining applications through the entire systems development life cycle and their certification and accreditation

2.         Providing systems training to Client employees

3.         Providing System Administration, analysis, troubleshooting support

4.         Providing guidance and instruction on identified MicroStrategy and SharePoint systems

5.         Configure current and newly installed MicroStrategy software/licenses on servers and workstations, as needed

6.         Assist, as needed, in the download and configuration of evaluation copies of new MicroStrategy tools to the development environment

7.         Configure all MicroStrategy tools in each current and future Client server environments

8.         Provide technical support for all Client Micro Strategy-based BI projects

9.         Work with Client development teams to establish project definitions and database connections within the Metadata Repository

10.       Ensure configuration management controls are used for MicroStrategy application software releases

11.       Migrate application metadata objects from development to test and from test to production environments

12.       Provide operational support that monitors development, test, and production activities/jobs and assists users of the MicroStrategy tool. Operational support shall address periodic review of storage utilization/requirements for MicroStrategy environments and the Metadata Repository

13.       Respond to ad hoc requests for reports/metrics regarding tool related activities. Operational support shall also address oversight of a Change Control Board (CCB) for planning and prioritizing MicroStrategy tool and report object releases

14.       Fully support the reestablishment of Client’s MicroStrategy reporting environments in response to disaster recovery situations

15.       Perform activities necessary to support the overall management of the project to include development and maintenance of a yearly project plan, project status reporting against the project plan, and financial budget/contract expenditure reporting

16.       Coordinate project efforts to ensure documentation requirements as stated in Client’s System Development Methodology (SDM) and the security documentation and control specified in the National Institute of Standards and Technology 800-xx requirements are met, and

17.       Coordinate submission of Client Automated Release Tracking System release requests for Micro Strategy-based applications.
